Hello everyone,
Welcome back to our returning families and staff, and a special welcome to our new families! I hope everyone had a great summer and is ready for an exciting year.
The PTSO is here to help support the students during their time at the Governor’s School. In partnership with parents and staff, we’d like to help students make the most of this coming year. That’s where we need your help, whether it be time, ideas, resources, or other support, we need you! I invite all parents to consider joining and supporting the PTSO. Contact me for more information.
The PTSO operates primarily on donations from its membership. There is no minimum amount to become a member. We also raise some funds through the sale of spirit wear and fundraisers, and use the resources to provide social and academic events throughout the year. Parental support is a very important element in making the Governor’s School at Innovation Park a phenomenal opportunity.
I invite you to watch for our e-mails about upcoming events, and opportunities to help your PTSO. If you have any ideas about either parent or student events, please email us.
